HOW BYTHEWAY WAS DEVELOPED
Our team has developed ByTheWay mobile apps for IOS and Android platforms in the past. But this was not enough to cover the entire market. Experience has shown that part of the target audience prefers to use websites without installing software on their smartphone. Therefore, to increase the profitability of the business, it was decided to launch a web version of the platform with expanded functionality. The point is to satisfy all user needs within one platform: from searching for the right product to ordering a delivery service.
Implementing such an idea is not a big challenge for our team, but the question remained - how to create a solution that will technically surpass competitors. Therefore, before starting development, we immersed ourselves in a thorough study of the market and its main players, while simultaneously maintaining contact with the client to discuss innovative ideas.
When the basic concept of the web platform was formed and approved, we began to turn it into reality. The development process followed the iterative Scrum methodology and consisted of eight main stages:

To optimize the budget, in the web version of the service we proposed using the same server part on which ByTheWay mobile applications run, but with appropriate modifications. In addition to the financial side, we justified our choice by the following:

SEO-OPTIMIERUNG
Während der Entwicklung der ByTheWay-Webplattform wurde uns die Bedeutung der SEO-Optimierung auf technischer Ebene bewusst. Da wir verstanden, wie Suchmaschinenalgorithmen funktionieren, haben wir daher die folgenden Schritte unternommen:
Für die Entwicklung des Backends haben wir uns für das reaktive Framework Vue.js entschieden, das eine hohe Seitenladegeschwindigkeit gewährleistete.
Wir haben dem Admin-Panel die Möglichkeit hinzugefügt, Metadaten für jede Seite zu ändern.
Wir haben einen Blog implementiert, um Leitartikel zu veröffentlichen und die Site mit gezielten Schlüsselabfragen zu füllen.
VERBESSERUNG DES ADMINISTRATORPANELS
Wie bereits erwähnt, kann der Kunde ein einziges Admin-Panel zur Verwaltung der Webplattform und der mobilen Anwendungen verwenden. Da die Funktionalität der Site jedoch erweitert wurde, mussten auch die Fähigkeiten des Admin-Panels verbessert werden. Folgendes wurde getan:
Ein neuer Abschnitt „Blog“ mit Funktionen zur Verwaltung von Artikeln wurde hinzugefügt.
Anzeigendatenbank hinzugefügt.
Eine Funktion zur Verwaltung von TOP-Anzeigen wurde erstellt.
Eine neue Registerkarte „Anzeigen“ wurde in die Benutzerkarte integriert.
Neue Einstellungen zur SEO-Optimierung wurden eingeführt.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE BYTHEWAY WEB PLATFORM
ByTheWay provides users with extensive functionality to manage advertisements, routes and packages. We invite you to consider the main features of the web platform in more detail:
Fast registration and authorization. To register on the site, users can use the standard method and fill in the data manually and log in in one click using an existing Google, Facebook, or Apple ID account. To achieve this, our team completed all the necessary integrations.
Personal Area. In his personal account, the user can change contact details and personal information, indicate the preferred language of communication, view “Favorites”, and also monitor his own advertisements, parcels and routes.
Ads. After authorization, the user can place an unlimited number of advertisements, which, after verification, will be added to the general listing. To ensure a comfortable search for products in the general list, we have implemented an extensive filter system.
Placement in the TOP. To highlight your ad and increase the chances of selling a product, the user can use the paid function and place his offer in the “TOP ads” block, which is located above the main list. Similar functionality is implemented in the “Parcels” section.
Chat with an automatic translator. Since ByTheWay is an international platform, we have integrated an automatic translator into the chat. Thanks to this, users immediately receive messages in the language that was specified as preferred in their personal account.
Possible delivery options. The function has been added to the ad card and allows you to instantly select a driver who will deliver the goods along the specified route.
Routes. A database of drivers and the routes they follow, where you can choose the optimal carrier for your parcel.
BYTHEWAY-ERGEBNIS
Unser Team arbeitet weiterhin an der Entwicklung des ByTheWay-Dienstes. Nach dem erfolgreichen Start der mobilen Anwendungen haben wir auch eine Webversion des Produkts erstellt, die zusätzlich mit Bulletin-Board-Funktionen ausgestattet ist.
Die Veröffentlichung der ByTheWay-Webplattform ist bereits erfolgt, und jetzt konzentrieren wir unsere Ressourcen darauf, ihre Effizienz durch die Implementierung und Umsetzung neuer Funktionen zu steigern.
